- Shanxi Dissemination Meeting
From November 20th ¨C 24th, 2006 the ProgrammesĄŻ Implementation Unit carried out a site visit in Shanxi Province. On November 21st the representatives of the PIU participated in the meeting, with the local authorities (Provincial MOF, NDRC and Health Bureau) and circa eighty representatives of the local hospitals, where the main procedures and requirements of the Sino-Italian Health Program were explained to the potential beneficiaries. Subsequently, the representatives of the PIU answered the questions of the participants.
During the site visit the PIU delegation examined eight hospitals in Shanxi (Jinzhong, Linfen and Xinzhou cities) suggested by the Provincial MOF. Some recommendations on how to develop the projects to meet the criteria of the Sino-Italian Health Program were given by the PIU to the direction of the hospitals. In order to further proceed with the work on the projects, the PIU asked the beneficiaries, willing to apply for the Program and enlisted the support of the local MOF, to submit the project documents elaborated according to the information presented during the introductory meeting.
