"Strengthening of the Shaanxi History Museum" Programme
This Programme is to be considered as the pilot project for the creation of a standard version of bidding documents to be utilized for the forthcoming projects in the Cultural Heritage, Environment and Health Programmes financed through the soft loan.
The PIU Procurement Unit has offered its active support in the preparation of a model of standard bidding documents which combine the principles and the procedures of the World Bank and the European Union.
For more than a year the PIU Procurement Unit has effectively cooperated with the Chinese Procurement Agent, the Development Cooperation Office of the Italian Embassy in Beijing and the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China in the revision and adjustment of the documents which are now in the finalization phase.
